OUR NIGHT IN SAN FRANCISCO
I had a work event in San Francisco on a Saturday so we decided to go up as a family and spend the night in the city on Friday. One of the funnest things to do is drive in, get a hotel room and pretend we live in the city for the day. We stayed at the Westin St Francis in Union Square, one of my favorite SF hotels. The one thing about this historic hotel, its small and they don't allow cribs in the room. This lead to a less than comfortable sleeping situation for the parents and the kids. We all were basically up the whole night and a little miserable. Rob and I decided hotel night stays in the city are still a must but in a modern, non historic hotel room that allows cribs. Union Square is central to all things shopping, eating and sightseeing. We did a little of all the above and had a blast. Hopefully we be back here very, very soon.
She stands
Yesterday, our little eight month old decided to pull herself up and stand. It was adorable and she was so proud.
I thought I wouldn't be as excited about these small milestones with the second child but they are just as amazing as the first time around.
The best part of Lydia standing; Brooklyn was outside her crib and gave her a high five when she was up. I am so, so lucky to have two girls. And they are so lucky to have each other. I know they will best friends just like me and my sister, Lisa.

NORA IS MARRIED
Remember when I was all cool and had a {live in} nanny?
Well, she decided to go get married and move out.
Thankfully she wants to be our nanny during the day still.
Congrats to Nora and Ray!
MEMORIAL DAY AT STINSON BEACH^
Oh Stinson Beach. I wanted to come here for so long and choose the absolute worst day to go: Memorial day. Apparently this is the ONLY beach in the North Bay and people are OK with waiting forever to get there. Living in San Jose and having the luxury of countless beaches to the south this will be our last three plus hour trip to the beach. Also, its super windy and Brooklyn threw up (!!!???) on the ride there. When we finally got there the beach was pretty amazing I must admit. It was sunny and hot until about an hour later when it turned freezing. We left the beach and headed to get ice cream and play on the play ground where it again turned into blazing hot heat. Then we got back into our car and drove home. Happy Memorial day!
