JENNA'S WEDDING

We had the funnest time at Jenna and Brads wedding! I think everyone that knows me is aware they are my favorite couple of all time. Brad was basically my third roommate for my last two years of college. Saying we all did everything together would be an understatement. These two were present for almost everyone of my best college memories. The whole weekend was dreamy in Kenneybunkport, ME. I loved brining Rob there for the first time and showing more of all the awesome places in New England. The rehearsal dinner was a lobster bake (my very favorite), the dessert was even whoopie pies (almost my favorite). It was like the menu was tailored for me. The wedding was beautiful. I didn't get any pictures because I was standing up at the alter but Jenna looked stunning. Obviously I cried a little watching her walk down the isle and listening to the tender vows they both prepared. It may be because I'm pregnant but everything at this wedding was so touching to me. We woke up bright and early Saturday to get our hair and make up done and before I knew it we were off to the reception. The venue was a beautiful hotel over looking the ocean. We danced the night away, took pictures in the PhotoBooth and got to send off wishing lanterns before we went home. Every wedding I attend I want to get remarried all over again. What a special night for a special couple. Jenna and Brad, I love you both!

LABOR DAY ON A BOAT

I'm a little behind on these post updates- September was a BUSY month for us!

Rob has been talking about wanting to buy a boat for a while now. This seems a little odd considering since we have been together we have only been on a boat once. It doesn't really make sense for our young family right now. Especially because there aren't any great lakes close by, we don't have a vehicle to trail the boat or a place to store it. Regardless of all this I agreed to rent one and see how it felt for us. The Friday before Labor Day my car went into the shop and I walked out with an SUV WITH a trailer ball on the back. I thought this was the craziest thing so obviously I had to surprise Rob by renting a boat for Labor Day weekend. We ended up getting one and the day was just perfect. Everyone had a blast, the weather was perfect, we jumped off the boat and swam around, cruised the lake, Rob even got to wake board! It actually brought back tons of childhood memories for me and really made me want to get a boat.

FAMILY PHOTOS 2014

I think we should take a family photo every year. Especially when the girls are young because they change so much each and every year. I LOVED our 2013 family photos. Unfortunately this year we used a different photographer and it was sunny and Brooklyn had just woken up from a nap and the pictures are mostly humous. I have resolved to frame two of them just because we did so much to prepare and spent all the money on the actual photos. Heres hoping 2015 pictures look better!

^^even rob's face in these! that sun was really bright

^^i bought this dress that morning and didn't really try it on. it looks like I'm getting ready for a baptism AND i thought my necklace was in the car. all around not a good look.

BROOKLYN TURNS TWO

I can't believe we are counting years, not months anymore. My baby.. my baby.. my baby. She's a big girl now. She was really lucky to have two birthday parties for her second birthday. The first she had on her actual birthday with her grandparents and cousins and the next was the following week with her little friends. I really could not love my little Brooklyn anymore. Everything she does and says is just so cute. Right now she loves going to her swimming class and soccer practice. Her two best friends are Ty Toolson and Evelyn Menasco. She can sing several short songs; some of her favorites are happy birthday, twinkle twinkle little star and row row row your boat. She also likes to quote nursery rhymes, and sing the A,B,Cs. She knows all her colors and is beginning to learn shapes. Brooklyn loves to read books all the time. Every morning when she first wakes up she runs with a book and we read several before bed each night. She's been in her big girl bed for a few months now and is doing great. I only found her sleeping on the floor one time. She loves to give a bear hug but is still really stingy with her kisses. Her "cheese face" is getting more and more intense, she now even clenches her first to really smile. Brooklyn says "OK!" to anything that is asked of her and skips off to do what she is told. She wears her princess hello kitty or mini mouse dresses to bed every night. She loves to eat and tries anything new we give her. She likes to give Lydia hugs/ tackles her when she gets really excited. Every day with this little girl is such an adventure. Happy second birthday Brooklyn, we could not love you anymore!!!

^^The birthday morning started with a donut and a happy birthday song.
