EASTER WEEKEND 2014

So much has changed since Easter 2013; we didn't have Lydia yet and Brooklyn was just a tiny baby. This year, Brooklyn was a pro during the neighborhood easter egg hunt. All day she said "easter hunt, easter hunt"! She just thought it was the coolest thing. After we headed to the Campbell parade and finished the evening at the park. It was a very good day for the girls. Sunday we went to church to celebrate Jesus (the real reason for easter!) then went to Danville to enjoy Shannon's delicious cooking. It was a great Easter here. My heart was full of joy and love for my family. Holidays always make me feel grateful for all we have.

SARAH'S BACHELORETTE

I really am unbelievably lucky to have the group of friends I have. I can't believe I have known almost all of these girls since 5th grade (and one since kindergarden!). It makes me feel old to say we have been best friends for fifteen years but also feels amazing. So many good times and memories with these ladies I am lucky enough to call my best friends.
We went to Newport, Rhode Island to celebrate our bachelorette Sarah. Surprisingly I had never been before. Probably because I was always down the Cape and its really similar. What a super cute beach town. Like most visits to Boston this one made me really, really, really miss everyone here.

ATLANTA & BOSTON & BROOKLYN

I had a work meeting in Atlanta the Thursday before my girlfriend Sarah's bachelorette party in Boston.  The obvious decision would be to fly my 20 month old across the country, have a sitter come to the hotel, then fly up to Boston. All so she could spend the weekend with her grandparents and aunt and uncles. She was quite the big girl navigating around the airport and sitting in her own seat. I hate traveling for work now but its really fun when I have my little sick kick with me. After my work meeting finished we went to a park in Atlanta before our flight. It was weird, it almost felt like a normal day. I loved seeing my family and all my best friends.
