Saturday morning we went to the Oakland temple with our friends c&e.
The temple is a beautiful, peaceful place that we believe to be the closest thing to heaven here on earth. In the Mormon church we make covenants with God and we are promised blessings in return. We remember these sacred agreements inside the temple.
In the evening we attended a Christmas party at church. I think sometimes we forget why we celebrate Christmas, which of course is to remember the birth of Christ! There was a dinner and a Christmas performance and then the big man santa came out. Brooklyn was more annoyed than scared of him but either way didn't give us a smile. Of course she chilled with her best friend Brooke, it was a such a fun night!
We got to Boston tomorrow!*
